Shanice L. McLeish is a writer and grief advocate committed to normalizing conversations around loss. The Heart Behind Grieving It
Grieving It was created to make conversations about grief more accessible, honest, and meaningful. We believe people deserve spaces where they can talk about loss, explore difficult feelings, and feel supported without judgment.
What began with a personal experience of loss has grown into a commitment to helping children, families, and communities navigate grief through storytelling, education, and connection.
Our Mission in Action
Through books, youth grief programs, workshops, and community partnerships, Grieving It creates opportunities for meaningful conversations about loss.
Our work helps children and adults find language for their experiences, understand their feelings, and recognize that they don't have to navigate grief alone.
